Our wild Greek Mountain, also known as 'Sheperd's tea is naturally caffeine-free, contains polyphenols, flavonoids, and other plant compounds valued for their antioxidant activity. It has a delicate, earthy flavor with soft floral notes and a gentle hint of citrus and mint. Its aroma is clean and mountain-fresh, while the finish is smooth, slightly herbal, and never bitter. In Greek homes it has long been offered after meals, or whenever warmth and quiet are needed.
WIld, Greek Mountain thyme has a floral, woodsy, slightly resinous character that is especially good in dishes where its aroma can stay bright and distinct. Its flavor is more floral and fragrant than oregano and less peppery than throubi, making it especially suited to seafood, cheese, honey, fruit, and delicate grain dishes.
Our Salt is gathered by hand from the rocky shores of the Mani Peninsula by locals, this sea salt is dried by the Greek sun and shaped by wind and wave. Clean, briny, and full of natural mineral character, it is salt in its simplest form.
